Newest Bottle

Here's my newest creation. I used a slightly different technique by frosting the bottle instead of etching. This one isn't quite finished being embellished, but you get the idea.

Wine label ATCs

I'm trying to do some recycled crafts, and since I'm using the wine bottles for lamps, and many of them have such pretty labels, I figured I'd use them too. I came up with this idea after I met Tweety Jill and she taught me how to do artist trading cards. I'm going to use some as gift tags for my wine lamps, and others just as a decoration for my kitchen.

Wine bottle project!

I FINALLY finished my first wine bottle etching project! I've been collecting wine bottles from my friends and colleagues to use for recycled crafts. I used my Cricut to cut out crab stencils on vinyl contact paper from the Life is a beach cartridge. Then I used Armour Etch on the bottles. This is a gift for my friends whose last name is Crabtree and are wine lovers. I think it will go perfectly in their "Crabtree Shack".

Vintage Citrus Labels

I stumbled across these as I was searching for vintage post cards. So much of Florida's history is in the citrus industry. I'm finding it fascinating, all the work that the growers put in to them! If you know where I can find any please send me the link or post your suggestions. Thanks!!

Well, the FCAT is almost over for this year. I can't freakin' wait!! But now is the major drag until spring break in April!!
